When "Expendables 2" was being shot it left a man injured during an explosion scene that left one man died. Today they filed the law suit against Millennium Films and other productions that are involved in this movie. Explosives and other hazardous activies started this explosion. This was the productions fault for not making sure that everything was alright. The man was injured really badly. His neck, back and other body parts were injured pretty badly.
I article is important because the safety of people is really important. It caught my attention because I thought that it was unexpected to hear about an explosion injuring a person. I thought that the people on set made it safe for them not to get hurt. This article impacts me as a student and a future film maker because it tells me that it is dangerous to be on a set with explosives and that I should make sure that nothing goes wrong on set. This article impacts me as a consumber because it lets me know that hard work was put into this. People might even risk their lives to do the scene. Some questions that I have are, "How much will the productions get sued for?", "Will other productions become more careful in shooting a scene around explosives?", and "Is the injured guy going to be okay?".

I wonder how the safety of that scene was overlooked... Hard work does go into this and without the right people doing their jobs to the fullest, someone can get hurt-- even to the point of death. Hopefully everything turns out well...
ReplyDeleteWow, you would think they would be extremely careful with this kind of stuff. Hopefully from now and on they make sure to double check, so not another accident happens.
