Terrence Malick is coming out with a new movie. His new movie is called "To The Wonder". Many people have been wondering if Terrence will be going to Venice or Toronto to see his premier. He did go to his last one but he was only their for a little bit and then left. People would even be betting if whether he would go to his premier. The reason why he doesn't go is because he feels that the movie should speak for itself.
This article caught my attention because I heard of Terrence Malick before and I wanted to know what the article was going to talk about. Its important because usually directors go to their own premier to see what people have to say about it but not Terrence. This article will impact a student because if you ever go to a premier you will see that some directors don't go because they feel that the film should speak for its own. The article can impact a future film maker because it can show that as you start getting into the film field you will notice that some people think that their film will be so good that they don't go or either because they don't want to deal with comments. It wouldn't really impact a consumer. Will Terrence Malick go to the premiere of "To The Wonder"? How will the movie turn out? If he doesn't show up to this one will he go to the next one?

Dream Works Animation signed with 20th Century Fox
Dream Works has sign a 5 year deal with 20th Century Fox. Movies like "Kung Fu Panda", " Shrek", and "Madagascar" are part of 20th Century Fox. Dream Works will be paying Fox 8% of revenue from box office and DVD sales. What Fox did was replace Paramount for Dream Works. Dream Works will still have the right to play movies on China's TV. They will get to play their movies on TV channel that they shared with Paramount. Katzenberg is planning on making a channel where they play Dream Work family brand cable channels. Dream Works has also signed to replace HBO and Netflix as it's pay television channel in the U.S. and it will officially take over by 2013. Dream Works first movie that will come out with Fox is "The Croods" and will come out in March 22 of next year.
This article is important because it shows that this company is expanding and will make great competition to any other studio production. Now that they are together they can make a great partnership and can make some good money together. Its also important because they are pretty well known industries. When I was little I remember seeing their names on "Shrek" and for Fox I remember seeing it with the "The Simpsons Movie". I liked both movies and they might come up with some good movies together. This can impact a future film maker because they can see how film industries can be when they join together. They will get to see how it works out with them and see whether if it was a good idea of them coming together. I think that they would make a good partnership based on the type of movies that they made. What will happen between them? How will Paramount do after this 5 year deal that Fox and Dream Works have? Will their be anymore deals that will make a difference in the film industry?

"The Bourne Legacy"
"The Bourne Legacy" series was a great success and the people that had brought this movie to such a high expectation of a movie are not even in it. The series of the movie was continued because it was so good that it was hard not to make another movie about it. Now that the movie is out it is the 'joys of the summer' due to its unexpected reactions that you will get out of it. Tony Gilroy knew the right way in how to take it to its best level of success. Gilroy did many important roles for the movie series of the "Bourne" by being the director and co-writer. He can do great things even though he goes through a lot.
The article is important because it shows how great of a director and co-writer Tony Gilroy is. He should be more recognized for his great success in this movie. I picked this article because I have seen some of the "Bourne" and it would be good to know more about this movie and how it did now that it is in theater.
The article can impact a student, future film maker and a consumer because of the fact that it tells you the movie is successful. The future film maker and student should know what made it such a great movie. This is useful for a consumer so he can know whether the movie is good or what to expect in it.
This article will probably get other directors to try to think just like Tony Gilroy. It would help the industry by making more directors and co-writers in making successful movies.
