Journal

The project that we just finished came out well. It was different than anything that we have done. Even though we had some technical difficulties at first I think that we started to get the hang of it.  The lighting, sound, and camera angels are different then just using one camera. I think that it was a great experience. I think that Marissa, Jachelle, Jose, Patricia, Alexa, Laura, and Stephanie did a pretty good job even though they had some technical difficulties. I wish goo good luck to the final group. I hope they do well. It sucks that I won't get the chance to see what it is like to do the morning show but I wish everyone in the class a bunch of luck.

Jornal

This new project is a lot different then the rest. I feel that its more pressure on you in what ever you are doing. I feel like you need to get everything right for example the lighting, camera angles, the actors have to know there lines well, the director has to know what he already wants. I think this project is good because it teaches us about the television shows and how they make it. I feel like my group knows what they want so I hope we can make this work.

Film Noir Film Journal

The process of making a film noir is very interesting. I like my group. We are all on the same page. We had trouble in the beginning but now things are starting to clear up. With Spencer and Stephanie being the main actors and being a part of the group. It makes it pretty easy for us to shoot because they are available. I was kinda new to the whole sound production but I got a hang of it quickly. Using the mixer was easy for me because everything was labeled. I hope we can get a good grade on this because from what I see it looks like it is coming out well.

Film Noir Journal #2

Edwin and I have been working very hard on our assignment. We changed the story well some of it. We added a lot to our story. We gave Neena a reason why to kill Isabella. Its been kind of hard to write the beat-sheet because Edwin knows the story and he has the story. I haven't been able to work on it as much as him because he has the story and he is always busy. I feel like our story is very good but I think we can still improve it.

Film Noir

Writing a Film Noir is alot differs then writing any kind of regular story. This type of story needs certain key things in order for it to be a Film Noir. I feel that this is the hardest project we have I had. I think it is hard because you have to include so much in the storing when you are writing it. Edwin and I thought we had a good story at first but then we found out that we were wrong. I noticed that many people were having trouble writing a Film Noir. I think the fact that we are on watching Film Noir movies it will help us get many ideas. This might be alittle hard at first but I feel like after a while we will get used to the way a Film Noir is suppose to be written.

85th Oscars Academy Award

On Sunday everyone around the world will be watching the the Oscars. They will be wondering who will be winning the Oscars. This year there are so many movies that are nominated for the Oscars. What I think that will happen is that for Best Picture Argo will win. Many people enjoyed that movie and I have expectations for them to win. For Best Director I think that Steven Spielberg. For Best Actors and Actresses I think it will be Daniel Day-Lewis and Emmanuelle Riva. They have all shown what they can do and that is why they are in this. Seth MacFarlane will be hosting the Oscars this year and I think that he will be cracking up some jokes because he is the creator of Family Guy and The Cleveland Show. I think that there will be a couple let downs like always.

Best Actor

The nominees for "Best Actor" are Denzel Washington (Flight) , Joaquin Phoenix (The Master) , Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln) ,Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook) , and Hugh Jackman  (Les Miserables). All of these Actors have done a great job and that is why they are nominated for this category. They have all worked very hard to be here.
I feel that Daniel Day-Lewis should win because in the movie Lincoln he plays a very important role. He played as president Lincoln very well. I don't think that anything can compare to his acting. Daniel knew exactly how to play as president Lincoln. I noticed that he changed his voice in that movie. I think that can be a reason why it makes him a good actor. He shows his dedication by doing small things that like changing his voice and acting like he was from around that time.
