Guillermo Del Toro wants to make Pacific Rim into a 3D movie. He feels that movies that are 3D make way more money. He wants to join the billion dollar club. Some movies that made it to do list was The Avengers, Avatar, Alice and Wonderland and more. 3D movies are more expensive than 2D. This movie will come out in 2D and 3D on July 12, 2013.
I thought this is important because many people think that this movie will be a big hit. It caught my eye because I saw that it talked about a movie making billions. This article is important to students because it shows them that it cant be so hard to make a billion dollars off a movie. This article can impact the future film makers because it shows them that they can make a billion dollars off of making their movie in 2D and 3D. They have to make sure their movie is good though. This can also inspire the future film maker to give them ideas of how they can do their movies.

ReplyDeleteThis movie will be coming out on my birthday! Anyways, i personally do not like 3D movies. I don't think some movies were even meant to be in 3D. Movies shouldn't be just about the money, you should make movies because its your passion.
I personally don't like 3D movies because it's hard to watch the movie with glasses plus the 3D glasses. But on another note how does this make an impact to a consumer.
ReplyDeleteI agree on how, future filmmakers can take making a movie in 3D into consideration to make a lot more money. But for example some people like me, Marlin, and Erika do not like 3D movies so it is a good idea to not just have the movie in 3D but in 2D also.
